Lens Adapter

Have you seen, or heard of the move "The Corpse Bride"? It's a Tim Burton 'claymation' type of movie. It was shot entirely with Canon 1Ds Mk II cameras and Nikon lenses. The reason they used the Nikon lenses on the Canon camera...was that they already had a stock of lenses...and the Canon was clearly the best digital camera in that format.

It should work well...but I think you have to use the 'stop down metering' method. Or maybe you can meter with the lens wide open...and then manually set the aperture.

Did you notice that the camera they are using as an example on that site is an "EOS D30"?

That's weird...because it should be the EOS 30D.

and corpse bride was shot with 1dMkII's, not 1dsMkIIs.

but anyway, yes you can do that. i know of many people who have used their old mf nikorr glass on their canon EOS bodies. there are alot of adapters out there.
