As some of you know we just had our second. The wife wanted a good shot for the announcements, this is my fav of the group. The third one just makes me smile.

Any tips on how to use my new lights would be great (setups ect), also what flash meters do you use. I think that is going to be my next purchase.

All taken with on alien B800 with large soft box high and to the right, a cheapie flash to the left, and a white reflector to the left.

What a cutie I had my play... so I'll tell you my steps if you want to replicate.

I ran a b/w action, used curves to add a bit more contrast, changed the tone so it wasn't quite so blue, and sharpened for the web. Oh and the most important part- a tighter crop. Look through some online baby photography. With babies, you want to crop tighter The soocs look a little under exposed and I can't seem to eliminate some of the grayness with my quick play.
