give me some feedback =D

Well I'm not a fan of "moving" people in pictures. But if I was those would be good!

the reason i use slow shutters speeds for rock music is that i wanna show the movement and the energy of the band members.
if i shot at a shutter speed of like 1/125 you wouldnt know they are going crazy.
for slower music genre i use higher shutters speeds
lol, there is a reason for what i do

but thanks for the feedback, i guess this crowd is not into rock concert shots ;D

I actually kinda like them. The only thing I don't like about them is the "ceiling" that's above the band's heads... kinda distracting. With the boldness of the squares in that thing they all blend in... maybe if the ceiling had of been a flat black... that's what it is in most concerts I've been to..

Just too busy and hard to focus on the subject I guess is my point. Not that you could of controlled it.

ttfn
CDL.

i agree about the ceiling being a little distracting, but i still love these shots

i can definitely feel the energy captured in these photos. good job!

I really like them - the movement conveys the energy of the band and the crowd, to me.

i actully don't like the movement, sorry! i think they would have been 10x better if they were sharper catching the emotions of their faces, cuz after all the face sows the emotion in a body!

thats the point
the emotion is in the body not there face, there faces dont show movement and energy
i shot at like 1/100, but they are super boring

right but what i said was the opposite, u wanna catch the emotion on their faces, i know they show it, im 15 ive been to a few concerts man. such as the 3rd one, fantastic if it was sharp, you can get this "movement" effect from a walking person so i dont feel the emotion you obviously feel. sorry im bein harsh but you said feedback so this is what i got for you

if i shoot at 1/100 it will be dark and u wont see the colors
and it will be boring, and being 15 doesnt prove how many concerts you've been to
i have been going to concerts since i was 6 months old so that proves i know more about emotions it the face.

your seriously going into this? oh your so cool ow 6 months old! im in a bad mood! and now u brought down the hammer, the concept is fine but honestly they arent great shots TO ME and theres no emotion that makes me go "wow hes into it" on their faces.

by the way, my uncle was the manager of david gray, the dave matthews band, and others, he worked for ato reords, dont mess around with me on this topic.

if someone doesnt like a shot its for a reason, if u HAD gone on a faster shutter speed, and you HAD made the faces sharper by their expressions and body language it'd be very easy to tell they were roking out.

about the colors, if they have lightshows going on, your gunna see 'em pal

ur uncle?
my parents were in bands
i was in a band
i have been on the warped tour for 2 years now, not just going to it, actually sitting on the bus with the bands traveling with them. so going to concerts proves nothing to me

ok your cool, you got too big headed because u got good comments on ur first set, learn to take some bad crit.
