mentor program still active?

I was wondering if the mentor program was still active as I would like to get involved as a student. I've read the post and was unsure where to begin and who if anyone is still active in it since most of the profiles are from a few years back

The official list: Official Mentors Bio list

I say you should select the mentor who most closely matches your goals and experience level, (I was going to say personality) and send a note via PM. If the member is not currently active, wait a couple of days and pick a different one.

I kept trying to get Jason to mentor me but the only advice he kept giving me was to grow a mustache and give up on the goatee.
