These were taken during the 54th running of the Red Moshannon Downriver race held on March 26th here in Central Pennsylvania. I posted the digital shots elsewhere here. There were 468 digital pics taken and 33 with my a9. The camera definitely lived up to it's name as a rugged, weatherproof camera since it was subjected to freezing temps, snow turning to rain during the race. I left it sitting on the gravel bar where I could reach it quickly when I had a chance to shoot film. Of the 33 shots, 20 came out ok. The others were slightly out of focus, and they were all broadside shots as the boats came past. I wasn't following through properly as I pressed the shutter button. Even though the camera has a very high shutter speed, the overall time for the entire mechanism to respond was slower than my electronic shuttered dslr. I'll have to keep that in mind next time. Film was fujicolor superia xtra400 and the lens the Minolta AF 75-300. Here's a few pics.
