    They are still a little dark in my opinion.

    I'd prefer them a bit brighter and a tad more contrasty, too, would also take away a little from the blur as created by your long distance, I GUESS (don't know, though) ... at 500mm ... how do you place your camera and THAT LENS!?!?!?
