Here's my boy Blake playing in a tree.

We were about 10feet from bein under this tree. It snapped while we were in the neighbor's yard today. Quite scarey. Blake thought it was "cool" I was freaking out trying to find a spot for us to stand so if another tree was to fall over, we would not get hurt. Again... quite scary.

Amazing that no one was hurt. Handsome lad too.

What made that other tree snap? It does not look windy nor wet nor snowy... how could this happen?
Glad to hear it was "only" (cough-cough) a near miss... oh dear me!: What a fright!

We had wind gusts of up to 80mph that day all day. I guess all that pressure made the tree snap. Some gusts even made my house shake.

Thank god you're all safe!!! Nice shots. I would take more than two pictures, that's for sure :lmao:! Did you?

Almost as soon as the tree snapped it started getting dark, so I had to take the kids home. I 4 pictures total. Here are the other 2. They aren't that great, but here they are...

Makes you appreciate life when something like this happens - glad no one was hurt.

Was the snap loud?
