Cool shot, but a little far away. Although the posts are cool, to get closer, I'd crop above the cables.

Or shoot with a 400 mm or 600mm lens...that's the struggle I face with such a short lens. I did the tighter crop but felt like it lost too much of its context of "place" to make me happy. Thanks for the comments.

Yea man, I hear you in this one...my bird feeder is 7' from my shooting window...the only way I can get feather detail our of my 55-200 kit.

Same here and any super zoom lens of good quality and optics cost a ton.
