New Canon 7D

Did everyone see this? Looks like a replacement/upgrade for the 50D. I wonder why they chose "7" in naming it.

One of the absolute best hands-on previews is from Rob Galbraith's web site. He was even given the upcoming new zoom lens to try with the 7D.

Looks like the camera focuses great on static subjects, but the jury is still out on the AF on moving subjects. Read Galbraith's honest report from actual,hands-on use and shooting of the camera.

I was impressed with the image quality with high-quality lenses.

He has some excellent illustrations and comments on how the camera handled.
