hi whats going on? Im James from new york. Im former military now going to college with a major in art. I have several mediums that i prefer in art, but i got into photography about a year or so ago, i use a pentax k-1000 for my film work, but i just got myself a pentax *istd this last spring, been playing with that a bit. I like scientific as well as nature photography.

well i dont know if its th best option out there
i was influenced into buying one because i use a k-1000 and due to fiscal limitations i wasnt going to be able to buy any lenses for it for a while
and the beauty of the istd is that it uses the same mount as the film slr pentax's

i only own two lenses for the IST a 16-45 and an 80-210 for my portraiture

but because of my old k-1000 i acutally about about 5 lenses i can use with it
