    New little yellow pair arrived this afternoon - smaller than the greenfinches and can't make my mind up if Yellow Hammer or Siskin although more in colour like the rare Serin

    That first shot is a beaut! Nice colours and nice 'eye contact'. It must be lovely to see these brightly coloured birds flitting about the feeders.

    Was my 2000th posting on a "birdie" forum so excited to see something new. I think I have already had an ID of Siskins - more usually found in Pine forests and a bit off their patch in the Fens.
