Hey all, I'm new to TPF (and relatively new to photography, for that matter) and this is my first posting. I'm hoping to get some good advice, and some unabashed criticism, on everything photography. All my learning so far has been trial-and-error. I've been using a Canon A80 which I got before going to study abroad in Budapest, Hungary last year, and most of the early pictures I post will be from my time spent over seas. Anyway, I look forward to seeign everyone's work, and hearing what you have to say about mine.
This picture is of a painter's bench on Ile de Goree, Senegal. I was trying to capture the sense of color and creativity that I got, and the idea of art and beauty coming out of chaos.
