newbie from NC

Hi Everyone! My name is Morgan & I'm a grad student at Duke in the genetics program. I have been wanting to take up photography for a long time & I finally bought my first camera. I bought a used Canon 30D. I also ordered my first lens, a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens. I will probably order a 28mm lens next week & a flash.

I signed up for a photography class starting Saturday. I'm very excited to finally start learning some photography.

I'm also a photoshop enthusiast. I enjoy editing pictures & creating graphics.

Welcome morganleigh! I'm an undergrad at NC State, it's great to see another N.C person on the board! :thumbup: The Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens is a very awesome piece of glass, I'm sure you'll love it!
