Nikon D2X lens choices....

So untrue. Cropped sensors will be around much, much longer than you think.

well.... dx might be around for while... but the question of who will be using it and the valuation of dx lenses is will certainly be unstable...

take a look around at various sellling boards like nikionians, fredmiranda etc... people are dumping dx lenses like the plague.... their value is dumping while the fx lens resale remains very very strong... most smart advanced hobbyists are planning an fx lens collection with the eventual plan of moving full frame... who wants to be stuck with a sack of dx lenses when moving to full frame?...

dx bodies on the other hand may be a different story because their usage is not limited when mounted with an fx lens.... and can also provide some advantages...

I have the same D2X and I recently got Tamron SP-70-300 lens = Sharp and beautiful no question the best. I also have the Nikon 70-200. The Tamron beats Nikon easily in sharpness.
