Nikon SB-800 Speedlight Questions

Hey, this should be my last new thread about a flash, if all goes well.

A photo-friend of mine is selling his SB-800's, in favor of new ones, because his father says they were wobbly on his D200s. He says the new ones are the same, but a little tighter, so he is going to sell the old ones.

He is willing to give me one for 200 dollars...

Part of me is saying to JUMP at this, but should I be weary?

1. Its a year old, is this still in the lifetime of the flash?

2. Should I worry of the "wobbly"?

RM, unless he's been using it as a strobe in a disco lounge JUMP!!

And even if, the replacement bulbs can be had for not too much. The 800 will allow you to be very creative with multiple flashes as well (look it up, I've heard and scanned but not paid rapt attention) And I believe the 800 can be used with an external power source too!
