Out for Delivery - Sigma 70-200mm almost home !

My turn to be excited with a soon to be delivered lens!
I ordered a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 and it should be home today. Just in time for my daughter’s first recital. I was afraid my 105mm Macro wouldn’t have enough reach to frame her and her class mates. Not without walking all the way to the front anyway.

I should be set for a while now. Yet, as a proper lens addict, I know I what a fish eye lens next…

Weeee ! That thing is big ! Add the hood and APS-C hood extender and its definitely not subtle !

Ok, so its been awhile and the test photos look great. Can we get an opinion on the lens now that you have had it for awhile. I would appreciate it.

I ended up sending it back.

Great lens, I found the AF a bit on the slow side. I'm planing on getting a G lens down the road. Hopefully by the end of this year.
