out of 1000 i like these 2

hi, this is my first post with the 2 favorite picture of my first 1000 batch. they were taken with a canon rebel xsi, athat I bought last week, comments are appreacieted since i have absouloutly no experience in photography.

they fly was take while i was practicing with the focus the first day i bought my camera. Its on the patio, on a bench behinde my home.

The second one was taken on may 27th , in montreal , 11pm, downtown , while it was raining , that explains the brighter then usualy backgroun at night.
the museum:

none of these pictures were edited.
i would appreciate feed back if possible.

I really like the coppery colour of the sky, and green coppery colour of the domes in the second picture! It's just a shame about the street light in the front and the large cube building in the background!

The first doesn't really do much for me, it's what you say it is; a practice shot.

Good start though, and keep up the good work.
