Paradoxical Warmth of an Alpine Sunrise

It's actually to do with particle size.
You can get intense sunrises and sunsets - that is all to do with atmospheric conditions. But morning sunlight tends to be visualy colder.

Sorry, I don't like it. The rocks look great but brownish snow and the sky isn't right. If you meant this to be a shot from another world than you were successful.

I think it looks like the light from a sunrise, not from another world

I live in Colorado and I think it looks just like what it is, a slightly warmer version of snow and rock in warm light. You just don't see many postcards where the snow doesn't look white. It often doesn't though in early and late light.

Nice shot, it makes me feel I was there. The clarity of the near rock face makes the whole picture seem very real.
