So much for Easter!
Supposed to go down to London for gathering of grandchildren - had trouble getting the car out of the drive and went about 5 miled before returning as even main road white with settling snow on top of ice so thought better of another 80 miles at 20-30mph max! Senior management did not enjoy the little losses of traction on turning and slopes!
As camera deprived of five grandchildren - took it out on the plants and birds. Five hours on the 3-4in of snow had gone!

Lovely first image - just clone out the stalk at the back.
And I recognise the garden view in the bottom one - but prefer some of your earlier shots!

Oh no, did the hyacinths survive the snow? 3-4 inches at one go is a fair amount of snow for the UK, isn't it? Seems odd to see your view of the Cathedral with snow on the ground!

They have built in antifreeze so now problem at all. Same goes with most winter bulbs. Mind you we are not talking Canadian temperatures!
