So I just picked up my 2x Bowen Gemini II 500 flash heads :}
Been very excited about this for a while.
I've used them at college before and they are really good.
These are the first few shots I took with just one of the lights set up with an Umbrella.
Boy does it feel good to be shooting at iso100 and a decent aperature!
Usually in my house it's so dull, even with all the lights on and lamps directly at the subject. I struggle to go below iso400 and thats usually between F1.8 and 5.6.
So now I have this and lots of playing to do :D

***Ah yes. These are all straight from the camera apart from resizing and bordering***

1) 50mm prime lens. 125/F11

2) 10mm wide angle. 125/F8

I have taken so many more.
I thought this was a nice small range to show.

I also brought lots material today aswell for my backgrounds. :D

I'm happy for you!
I love my lights, they make such a huge difference in how creative we can be.

Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks man.
Decent lights really are prciey over here, but hopefully I can do a few shoots and pay for the lights as quickly as possible.
And of course..... have fun along the way.

I'm hoping to be able to buy a travel pack within a couple of months so I can shoot on location....

haha. I should just be happy with what I have for now :p

Right after I bought my AB's, I ordered the AB Vagabond battery system!
*i still haven't had the chance to use it yet :(*

Congrats on the new lights and backgrounds Gizmo. You'll be able to do a lot with two lights. Have fun learning all the rules of lighting ... and then breaking them! ;)

(uh ... the rules, not the lights)
