I'm trying to improve on aquarium shots and wildlife closeups - short of going macro. Any comments welcome.

The four aquarium shots are pretty good, although the second one suffers from some very severe noise. The last two, of the snakes, are pretty good as well, but I find that the lighting is rather flat in both of them. Let me guess, using the built-in flash? And if not, try flash off-camera to get more depth with your lighting. Overall, good stuff!

You're absolutely righton Trenton - built in flash. Guess I'd better invest in a cord for remote use of the flash. I'm not sure if I could have gotten much more of an angle with a remote because the glass viewing area was rather small. Thanks for the comment.
