Secondly have any of you had any success w/ windows emulation programs, and which one? I would like to destroy my windows partition, but i have to have some of the programs ya know?

I have not used Linux in a while but when I did, I used WINE to run Windows apps. Read somewhere the Disney and 3 other companies even got Adobe Photoshop to run under WINE.
