I am going to say that number 4 is my fav. The rest are good, the lighting seems a bit flat, or they could just need a bump in contrast?

Flat? What exactly does that mean? I've seen people say it, but not really sure... Maybe I should change my edit setting so that peeps can show me how it should look?

i think there great shots. Flat means they look a little flat not standing out. if you use photoshop try dublicating the image then flatten image.

Those are thistles. There are beautiful when they bloom out but are hard as H*$% to get rid of. We have them all over my area.

Actually Russian Thistle I think- Eeyore eats them. I have heard they make a great astringic tea. Good shots
