Half way through a week's tour of Scotland and with the weather closing in on the West Coast we headed further East. Glen Affric on Thursday and Aviemore for Friday. However, unable to resist the pull of the dramatic, I pointed the van west again on Saturday through Fort William and on to Glen Coe.

Catching the back end of more than 24 hours of heavy rain it was still dull, but was dramatic. The water pouring off the mountains was quite a sight. The camera got a little wet, but now dried out, and doesn't seem to have suffered any.

It does look a little damp there. ;) What camera was it?

Wonderful work! :)

A Nikon D600. I was also using my Micro-Nikkor PC 55/3.5 which has a heavily recessed front element which keeps the rain off it.

Looks like just another day in Scotland!

It's not uncommon for the area. ;) There was a weather warning but mainly because of the combination with the falling leaves blocking drains.
