Hey there! Some photos from the first batch off the new camera (I got my first DSLR! ). Feel free to comment, I'm really new to photography.

Hello Iman and welcome to the forum.

You asked for some comments and explained you are new. So here are a few of my comments to start you with.

The idea may work, but not with all the distractions in the back of the photo. It may be somewhat overexposed as well. Too much glare.

Crop the left side of the photo and concentrate on the tea mug, and hen in the slight backround. Next shot of this, take the time to remove the very distracting stuff on the shelf behind the hen.

Not a great shot at all. Notice the lighting issues with this, as well as out of focus

The concept has been done about 4,000,000,000,000000000000 times before. If you like the concept in general, find a new way to present it.


Sorry if you think I am harsh, wait...there are others who make me look like a nice guy.

Harsh critics are the best kind, we learn the most from them! Thank you for the feedback, I'll have to remember to tidy up before I start shooting. As may be obvious, there wasn't much planning in any of these shots (why i posted in the Just For Fun! section).
