RockClimbers

Awesome Capture! Hard to find much to critique about it, honestly. Would like to have seen a little more action with the climbers personally, but that's really stretching to find a critique honestly.

I appreciate any advice, I have only been shooting for about a month now. Any help is nice lol

This photo was taken at the Palisades state park in garretson South Dakota.

A very nice image; one way to improve images of this nature is with the use of a graduated neutral-density (G-ND) filter. These essentially allow you to capture two exposures in one image by allowing less light through the darker portion of the filter. This would have greatly enhanced the sky and sun colour and density of your image.

It would be much easier to critique and you would get much more useful input if you would allow editing in your profile.

I reduced this to a caricature to demo what I think.
The rocks are at a decided slant and it looks to me as if the image is rotated quite a bit.
The climbers are very small in the frame, really too small to see; if they are the major subject then much of the rest isn't needed.
Try to make your subject important in the frame.

Ahem! "Not OK to Edit" means, NOT OK to edit.
