This is a game called Send Me To Heaven. The goal of this game is to throw your phone as high into the air as possible, and try to beat everyone else's altitude.

Sounds like fun actually especially while in a pool. Soft landing so your phone won't get ruined

wonder if the app would record the height next time I fly....
