Self portrait and an old friend

These were taken with my older cam last decemer.. it was a HP 2002 model.. so it wasn't very high tech.. they looked like crap before I edited them a bit

Zoe.. only had her for a couple of months but she was a friend and a good listener

Comments and advice please

My old cam was an HP Photosmart 320.. old!

My new one is a Kodak Easy Share CW330. love it but want something better

This is on my Christmas list... it's the only thing I want lol

or some kind of Canon but I really don't know what is a GOOD camera ..

It seem you've made a good choice. Have you looked at the Nikon D50? I think it's in the same price range as the Kodak.

You should check some of the other postings for opinions.

there's just a HINT lol, in the lips. I did it in a setting called "aged newspaper".. aged about 17 years I think. I thought it was all black and white until I printed it out and seen my lips I like it

Apart from that most intriguing post processing treatment you gave your photo, I really dig that expression of total determination here . "I WILL get my self-portrait taken, no matter what!!!" :greenpbl: Lovely.
