I was asked at the very, very last moment to take some pictures at a family surprise party. When I got there it was the worst lighting conditions possible, strange yellowish bulbs in wall sconces, low ceiling, doorway to outside and other brightly lit room. It was ugly.
So I was shooting an OMD 1 with 20 or 45 at 1.7 or 2.0 and 1/125 or 1/60 for two hours at 2000-4000 iso.
Very fast focus, little missing - horrible color noise in places and of course not much DOF for people in groups.
They wanted record shots and this is the only one that I actually liked.
yes it is soft.
my son and his niece by marriage.
nice, sweet little girl
