I bought a Fuji F11 compact digital a while ago but I rarely get good results with it. I purchased it to throw in my shoulder bag but I'm thinking I will throw in my Nikon FM3a instead with ISO 400 film (black and white or colour negative for snapshots). I need a small flash to go along with it that I can keep attached without making the camera too cumbersome to haul out at short notice. Can anyone recommend a flash? I've been looking around but I would like to hear some other opinions.

SB-400, SB-30, SB-23 and SB-18 all should work with the TTL flash metering of the FM3A.

Thank you for replying. The SB-400 will only work with digital cameras and the F6. I'm checking out the other flashes.
