i'm working with my outdoor lighting, so i'd love any tips. i'm going to start practicing with a reflector next week.

Nice shots, the third shot is the best as far as having the light where you need it. Like you said try some with the reflector or even a flash, even if its just a built in flash so you can compare the difference.

It looked like it may have been a little overcast which is a good thing or else you were shooting in early morning or later in the day .
