Nice shot! Waiting on their annual invasion here. I have two flowering trees in my backyard and and in the front that all sprout berries in the fall. Usually they swarm a tree and devour everything on it then move on to the next. I don’t know much about them but I assume it’s part of their migration pattern?

An invasive species (thanks to pin-head Shakespeare fans) that drove the red-bellied woodpeckers from their nest in my yard.
I feed them lead whenever they come around.

I do not like their aggressiveness. They took over my barn at one point and the noise in there was deafening.

But, this is a beautiful shot.
