Anyone out there who can answer some Q's about this industry?

I recently spoke with a world-class photographer (30 years at Nat. Geog.) interested in my site. She informed me, politely, that I should do more research into the industry to protect my images. She said that RF images genreally cost more than RM images - I thought it was the opposite? Don't know how I should market my images - 1 genre, seldom found in excellent quality on the massive sights. I also thought that my previous research brought out that most sights pay 20% commission to the photographer - is that not the case???

Any suggestions for how I can recruit contributers??
