Hopefully these two will inspire more critique than my last set.. hint hint!

I like the second one more, i like the temperature in it more then the first one. But you seem to have the same problem as me, cool idea's but just not that interesting of pictures in the end even if they are done right with good contrast and lighting. I hope I can figure this photography stuff out some day.

 

[The Losing Kind]

The leading line in #1 is done really well, how the front flower combined with the back leads you in a curve from the foreground to the background. In #2, the only thing I would say is that the glare on the blacktop in the back-middle of the shot is a little distracting, but the colour in the glare compliments everything else... so no big deal.

Personally, I really like these shots. The colours and everything just pop out to me.
