    Went for a quiet puff with a thunderstorm outside to find this fellow and his mate checking on my planting out![​IMG]
    Peering over the edge of the patio about 8ft away - trying to make out the flash. Taken through glass - it was bucketing down!

    The come to see what the Starlings and Goldfinches have dropped from the feeder above. The chaffinches and sparrows on the ground do not seem phased by the pheasants at all.

    Wow, nice details in the feathers. Shame about whatever was blocking a clear shot, but the teaming buckets obviously prevented you from repositioning for a clearer shot. The presence of the flowers and tree trunk add a lot to the shot. Nice dof too.
