The Great Wall

The Great Wall, not very far outside of Beijing. I think this is the most common place tourists are taken to see the Great Wall. Fairly crowded at the bottom entry to the wall, but a few minutes walk gets you away from the crowds. Most people don't climb up the wall very far.
Pentax K100D + DA 16-45mm.

I'd love to visit it some time, but I think it would be difficult to get artistic shots. It's just so populated with tourists and it's probably the most photographed thing in China.

That said, I like #2 and 3 in terms of showing some of the shear human accomplishment of building the Great Wall, but in terms of "art," these don't quite "do it" for me.
