There are a few things i wish I'd done differently with this photo, dof for one.

I think there is a decent crop in there somewhere but at the moment Im not sure if the picture is too busy with no real focal point.

What do you think?

definitely play w/ some crops...too busy imho now. I would like to see people crops...the statue is boring to me.

yes , it is too busy..
the best way is, go back to there and explore more , try to fcous on a subject
simplify the composition

Well, yes, John, I'm afraid your own feelings about this one is right.
Too busy. Room for exploration in some new shots. The square seems to offer quite some possibilities.

I would say you are correct about the depth. I think the square shoud be sharp and crisp, with everything else out of focus and lost out of DOF. It could be a nice classic B&W.

thanks for your opinions. I think youre all right, i wish i had explored the possibilities with the people in the shot more, especially the three old guys on the bench.

I will try out a few more different crops with just people in.

Oh well, you learn from your mistakes
