I really like the colours in #1, maybe #2 in colour even though it is a nice b&w. Decrepit is a beauty.

I like all tree of them. ;)

I've seen the word "decrepit" written before but have never so far bothered to really find out what it means (I always understood the whole context without knowing the exact meaning of this word). No the time has come for me to take out my big dictionary - and while I am doing so, I might say that I like these photos. Have taken a photo of a "tortured tree" myself only the other day, or let's say: a close-up of the bark as a "study of textures", as it were.

"Decrepit" is a wonderful photo... don't you think that this tree will make it for yet another couple of decades???
