I would like it if you shot this portait-style to get more water in the shot and hopefully the horizon line. Here it just seems like your pointing straight down, not the best composition.

I still like it, though.

Well, since it depicts something which I like, and where alot of emotions are associated with, I like it in a way.

But if I cast all that aside, I cannot find too much special about it. There are lots of lost highlights, overexposed, and the composition is ... a bit dull. There are no interesting lines and there is no point where the eye would rest on or concentrate on.

A good example of a composition which follows what some people call "rule of thirds" ...


I do not want to sound like a prick, so don't get me wrong or take it personal
