To crop or not to crop?

But I cropped it to try and tighten things up a bit:

Which do you prefer? Or would you crop it differently?

I would experiment a little more.

Try taking some off the bottom and a wee bit off the top.
Try a couple of different crops.

I like the original, in my opinion.

Try a crop excluding the space on the right rather than from the bottom. Using all the height, 7:5

That's very interesting. I never would have thought to have gone that extreme but it does make your eyes survey the scene. In the end, if I DO crop (this is driving me mad,) I'll definitely be at least taking some off the bottom of the original because I feel the foreground is confusing and detracts from the image.
