ToP Classic (TPF Classic?)

Or, let's talk about how great leicas are!

I don't see how you could print 80 in 50 minutes, they must have been perfectly exposed and the same negative with no dodging and burning, theres loading the neg in the carrier, focusing it, each print takes 2-3 minutes in dev

You could read the article. Or you could just read my post.

".... and then developing the lot."

would be the key phrase here.

"At 4 p.m., a tall, handsome man with a foreign accent, one of the printers in the lab—Voja—came to my enlarger and asked how it was going. [ ... ] At 4:50 pm, he took out 80 sheets of exposed photographic paper and went to the open developing tank. "

How long is it between 4pm and 4:50pm?

Good lord, Gary. You are the very definition of a prat, and you're also wrong and I cannot believe we're even having this argument.

Lets' review what I said:

"Voja printing 80 negatives in 50 minutes and then developing the lot"

and now let's review what Peter said:

"printed them all in 1 hour" exposing them between 4 and 4:50, and then developing them.

Gosh, I said what Peter said. AMAZING. You can fuss, if you like, that "printing" isn't exposing, but since I explicitly broke out developing as a second step, I think my meaning is unambiguous and clear.

Prat.

This post should have been titled "TPF Classic" !
