Trip to the Zoo to test my abilities

Hello Everyone,

I have been photo bored for weeks, so I shipped myself off to Abu Dhabi Zoo yesterday. The Zoo opens late at this time of the year so the sun was blazing very brightly which made the outdoor photos difficult. They also have a total ban on flash so inside was as much of a challenge. C&C appreciated however tough. Thanks for looking.

Nice shots, having worked in Dubai for 3 years I know the conditions can be less than ideal for photography most times!

I was cringing thinking that these shots were going to be from the Dubai Zoo. Terrible conditions at Dubai Zoo. I feel so sorry for those animals - never went to the Abu Dhabi Zoo, hopefully conditions are better there.

Agreed on Dubai Zoo. It's awful but this new one is AD is much kinder.

Nice set! I really like the lions shot with the doorway framing them.

I also like the owls, good use of DOF. That shot could use a bit more room on the right side though.
