Hi All,
I had tried setting up 'still life' pictures of flowers in the past, and never got anything I liked. Then I took a couple of quick snaps of this tulip in Crather Castle gardens in Aberdeenshire, between showers of rain. I think this was the best of them - and my mother is certainly happy with a cropped 12" square version on her wall at home.
300D, standard kit lens, ISO400, F5.6 I guess.
