Gorgeous photo, creative use of the zoom, very nice.
 
I really like but I would cut down on the border... It's a little much for my tastes.
 
i agree on the border, its huge... makes the picture look REALLY small. I'd rather see the photo than the border and i'm seeing both . i like the photo though

Was this set up, or is it straight from nature..

Please tell me your thinking behind this; how you chose what camera angle, what you thought, everything.. I find alot of joy in taking pictures of flowers

My thinking was how I could get an interesting image from the sea of flowers in the garden I was at,having spent the week doing isolated shots of blossoms and such I spent the day on the ground taking eye level shots.
YEs it was from nature no flash or lighting
I took it eye level with the flowers and focused on the highest tulip I believe it was wide open at f4 210mm with a 70-210 push pull..
