Thank you. The exterior was a very ordinary-looking red brick structure. But when I walked in, there was this magnificent space; relatively small for a central rail station, but just a beautiful work of architecture.

Seattle is the end/return of the line of the line for Amtrak's Empire Builder train that originates in Chicago.
Amtrak's Coast Starlight and Amtrak Cascades also use Seattle's Union Station.

The old rail stations are just sweet.
They are finishing up restoring the Sacramento station (Amtrak California Zephyr & Coast Starlight long distance trains, and Capitol Corridor commuter trains, and a couple of years back they finished restoring Denver Union Station (Amtrak California Zephyr).
