Warm winter day in the back yard

This is just a recent photo I really liked of my son in the back yard on an unseasonably warm new years day.

I also thought it was a good example of the softness you see with this lens (AF-S 70-300 VR) at the long end at its widest aperture, since a number of questions have come up about it recently.
