Been playing with water drops, harder than it looks

I like the middle one best. What lens were you using for these? I think a lot of people use a macro, but I don't have one and I have been thinking about trying this.
 
Shot was taken at f8, iso800 with a shutter speed of 1/200th using a standard 18-55mm lens that came with the camera, focal length was at 55mm. I only started photography just after Christmas so I was pretty happy with these

Nice try! I am LOVING water drops lately. I find getting a Nicely focused shot works better from an angle similar to your first. I never did have much luck with a "birds eye view!"

I use an 18-200 @200 mm quite often. With some heavy cropping it works well!
