Spent some time on Saturday with my lovely wife watching the whales off the coast of Okinawa Japan.

I have posted a few to the web site. Here is one example.

Please let me know what you think.

    Whoa, cool.
So here is someone else who had the chance to watch whales in their natural habitat! (Cherrymoose is the other). I have never ever in my life seen anything like this.

I love it but what with me being a member of the WDCS for the past 11 years I not surprised I like it :)

Very nice. Wowww, in that boat one, they got pretty close. Cool.
Do you know what kind they were?

These were Humpback Whales that come around Okinawa for mating season. We also saw a few baby whales. It was a great day. Just wish I had longer glass.

Nice! Humpbacks are fun to see, with their long flukes and the way their tail comes up before a deep dive.
