Which budget lens ?

There's only one that's better, the Sigma 18-35 F/1.8, but the zoom range is very small and it's not
an interesting choice for everyone. I'd love to have it if it was a 16-35 or 17-40 or something like that. :-/
 
Yea it would be nice for sure, however when using my prime i noticed i really cant use it at that point - Issue is you'll get half the car in focus and the rest will be blurred so i find 2.8 and up to work best for me generally.
 
What about Nikon's 17-55 2.8? I owned it once, fantastic piece of glass with same build quality as Nikon's 24-70. You can get it in really nice shape used cheaper than new Tokina or Sigma 24-70s.
