Why am I seeing adverst in the threads??

Okay, starting this morning, advertisements have been appearing within the threads like this:

Since each one has a "Remove advertisement" link in the upper, right-hand corner, I clicked that, which brought me to this page:

Not to put too fine a point on it, but WTF???? I've tried logging in and our, closing and restarting my browser (IE 7, Win XP Home, SP2) and they're still there.

Hmmm, on seeing that you subscribe, nevermind. I haven't had that issue yet. I run IE 6.

Maybe this is what terri made mention of in another thread to basically "watch this space". Changes to TPF are not finished.
